I recomend Hlalu for a fighter type (as you seem to be) Redoran is a little bit on the poor side and Telvanni is very focused on the old magic users. Caius will give you another quest if you're level 4 by the way and I suppose you've already done the duwemer cube quest right? There's quite a lot to do if you join one of the noble houses.

Exe Optimizer aso solves lots of issues, as it switches internal processing methods inside executable it should be applied AFTER MCP, as MCP would overwrite optimizer's work or even make MCP break executable. It's not the no-cd crack, Morrowind just takes some patience when it comes to finding things out. Overall, Morrowind Code Patch is THE neccessity, as it fixes LOTS of issues with the game with MGE added the game basically is getting pushed to modern level with gamepley and visuals intact (yes, you can have vanilla graphics with MGE, though why would someone avoid using at least Distant Land is beyond me). Use emulators to run the game on older OS, Win XP should work perfectly, '98 should do as well, though there will be more tinkering needed with drivers. What else can be done to fix it without adding mods? Nothing.

Not everyone will want to use mods for this issue.

However, I think his hardware is the issue and the mod patch must be adding support for more hardware that vanilla doesnt support. If those things don't work, reinstall vanilla Morrowind, and then MGSO 3.0. :dealwithit:Ĭlick Start, right mouse click Computer, left click Properties, Advanced system settings, Advanced (tab), Preformance Settings, Data Execution Prevention, Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select, Add.
